about

This meditation recording was specifically developed for the advanced user who is seeking a very deep meditative journey --a journey which is far beyond the norm. The meditation guides the user to a space where he or she can ask and receive answers to very challenging questions about their own physical life journey, their continuing spiritual journey, and existence in other dimensions beyond the physical/spiritual veil.

This album contains multiple meditations collectively referred to as the “Journey to the Celestial Sanctum.” If you are experienced in meditation or hypnosis, these recordings will guide you into a deep, altered state of consciousness to discover answers and insights to your most penetrating questions.

Over time, Jeff Moen at Studio 717 worked with the initial recordings by modifying the background music patterns and frequencies so as to optimize the experience. The brain functions at four distinct levels or 'states' of consciousness: beta (normal awake state), alpha (dream state), theta (sleep state with limited conscious awareness), and delta (somnambulistic or deep sleep state with no conscious awareness). In the beta state, the conscious mind is in complete control of your actions; at the lowest (delta) state, your unconscious mind is in total control. Each level of awareness — each state of consciousness — corresponds to a different brain frequency: alpha is around 14-20 cycles per second (cps); delta is only 4-5 cps. Altering the frequency of the background toward the lower ranges (fewer cps) promotes a deeper level of consciousness.

Jeff has accomplished this with his musical compositions, creating vocal and non-vocal versions of Celestial Sanctum with normal background music, theta waves, and delta waves. These are included in the full album; some are included as individual tracks.

Groups and instructors can use any of the recordings during meditation sessions. The background music recordings can be used by individuals, groups, instructors and therapists to promote and to sustain a meditative or altered state of consciousness.
Individuals with limited experience will likely fall asleep; therefore, the recording can also be used to promote a deep sleep. The preparatory/relaxation recordings can be used separately to achieve a comfortable state of relaxation or sleep; it can also be used in preparation for other meditation recordings.

It is recommended to prepare written questions in advance and read them out loud three times until satisfied with the wording; then begin the recording.
